Ndidi wins Belgian 'Goal of the Year' award

- Wilfred Ndidi has been honoured with the Belgian goal of the year award

- The midfielder was recognized for his volley while playing for Gent last season

Nigeria’s Wilfred Ndidi has been given the Belgium Goal of the Year award for his volley against Club Brugge while playing for Gent in the 2015/16 season.

The Leicester City midfielder received the prize on Tuesday, February 28 at the Leicester City training ground.

Ndidi netted an incredible long-range volley in April 2016 during the Belgian league playoffs.

The midfielder joined Leicester City in January after two years with the Belgians.

Ndidi has been included in the squad to face Senegal and Burkina Faso in friendlies to be played later this month.
